The leads of Rigoletto, Hyung Yun (Metropolitan Opera) and Eglise Gutiérrez (Covent Garden), are joined by pianist Jeremy Thompson, Director of Music at First Presbyterian, to perform a selection of favorites at the beautiful First Presbyterian Church in Downtown Charlottesville.

White Burkett Miller Professor of Law and Public Affairs at the University of Virginia ,Winner of the 2013 Thomas Jefferson Award.

Professor Howard will be presenting his lecture,"In the age of Rigoletto: Evading the Censor, Imagining a Nation". The evening will also feature excerpts from Rigoletto sung by the 2017 Young Artists.
