CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (CBS19 NEWS) -- The Charlottesville Opera has a new way to support young artists.
The Michelle Krisel Fund for Support of Young Artists was created to enable young singers to participate in programs and activities in Charlottesville.
It's named in honor of a former general director of the Charlottesville Opera.
The fund will formally launch Saturday at the opera's 2018 Gala at Farmington Country Club.
This is the opera's 41st summer season, which is featuring The Marriage of Figaro and Into the Woods.
